Cross Country Runners Place in First Meet of Season

Sophomore Sierra Walker finished in 14th place with a time of 29:29.75 in the women's 6K run at the Shannon Henretty Invitational hosted by Stevenson University in Stevenson, Md., on September 7. Freshman Gabrielle Wilson placed 17th with a time of 37:11.21. 

 "There were a couple of nice performances for the team, especially for those who were running collegiately for the first time," Killion said. "We are hoping to see some improvement as the season progresses and the team gains experience of running these longer distances."

CSM's next meet is the Catholic University Cardinal Classic on September 14.
