Sara Allwine hopes to have put a bow on her second straight All-Region 20 First Team selection, leading the ladies in points (6), goals (2), assists (2), shots (14), and shots-on-goal (8), as she nearly willed her team to a championship.
-
The other scorers for Head Coach Richard Landis consisted of Amber Jones, Kiera Salazar, and Abigail Noftsier, who all put one apiece past the keeper.
-
Kylie Smith was impenetrable for a 260-minute stretch dating back to October 21 as she did not yield a single goal in three straight complete game matches against Harford, Garrett (Region 20 Quarterfinals), and Carroll (Region 20 Semifinals), ending that timeframe with nine saves.
-
In the Championship match versus #18 Anne Arundel, Smith faced 21 shots with 13 being on-target, ending up at an even ten saves.

Shamir Taylor was an absolute menace to the Colts and Lions' defenders, shredding them for an average of 26 points (52 total) per game on top of leading the team in steals (7) and three-pointers (5), all while securing 13 boards.
-
If Taylor was Batman, then Amir Dade was his Robin, averaging a double-double per a night (18 points and 10,5 rebounds), sporting the double-double vision against Community Christian (21 points and 14 rebounds) as he shot a blistering 55.6% from the floor.
-
Kacee Hewitt is the ultimate glue guy in the rotation who does the little things well to set up the scorers, dishing out a team-best nine assists and stealing six passes while sporting a sparkling 4.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.
-
Three other student-athletes averaged double-figure point totals for the opening weekend including Donnie Stafford (11.0 ppg), Stephon Coleau (11.0 ppg), and Malik Acker (10.5 ppg), as Coleau's might be the most impressive as he did his damage coming off the bench.
